|I've been hosting with Dreamhost for two weeks now, and
have been happy with your service. However, for various reasons
I would like to cancel my Dreamhost account. My understanding is
that I can get a refund. Is this true?
DreamHost's success is highly dependent on the satisfaction
of our customers. A surprising amount of our business is gained
through word of mouth advertising - happy customers are often
more than willing to let their friends know how they feel about our
services. We feel that we provide a great service for a reasonable

changed their minds about hosting altogether.
With this in mind, we have provided a 97 day
money back guarantee to our customers. If you wish to cancel
your account within the first 97 days, for any reason whatsoever, you can close your account via the "close account" link online at our Billing > Manage Account area!
That will cancel your account and refund the
entirety of your payment (with some exceptions: see below).
Note that while hosting is fully guaranteed, domain
registration is not - we are unable to refund those fees. Also, any
additions to existing accounts (add-ons, disk space/bandwidth overage, etc) do not fall under the guarantee,
only plans and add-ons purchased by new users - basically, we
have provided this so that new customers can 'test drive' without

On check or money order payments we will do our best to refund the funds if you contact us before the payment is deposited.
