You can find your email username by going to our Web Control Panel and clicking on the "Mail" tab. Then click on the "Mailboxes" area directly underneath that tab, and you'll get a list of the usernames of all the pop3/imap accounts at your domains!

Is the username supposed to be different than the address?

Yup, they are supposed to be different.. and unfortunately we can't currently allow you to change the mailbox names to something more memorable. Each and every mailbox must be unique, and since there are so many thousands of them (all plans come with dozens!) it's just better if we generate them, so as not to use up nice names that could be used for ftp/shell accounts.
