How do I get search-engine safe URLs to work?
In the osCommerce settings there's a setting to turn on "Search-Engine Safe URLS".. which means all the urls in your store will be of the form:

http://store.com/store.php/blah/thingy

instead of the form:

http://store.com/store.php?blah=1&thingy=1

Which apparently helps your store get fully indexed by search engines. However, by default this won't work on osCommerce stores installed via our one-click installation, because your domain will be set to run PHP as a CGI instead of as an apache module!

To get search-engine safe URLs to work, switch your domain to run PHP as an apache module by going to the "Domains > Web" area of our web panel, clicking "edit" for your domain, unchecking "run PHP as CGI?" and clicking "Save Web Service". Within about 15 minutes your domain will be switched and search-engine safe URLs will work!
