How do I access the FrontPage administrative section for my site?
Frontpage has its own web-based administration module. You can access the one for your domain by going to:

http://mydomain.com/_vti_bin/_vti_adm/fpadmcgi.exe

where mydomain.com is the name of your domain.

Of course, this only works if you've already asked support to turn on FrontPage Extensions for your domain!

You will be asked for a username and password. These are the same as the user that the domain is under. (/home/frank/frontpage.frank.com would mean use the username "frank" and frank's password)

Some of the things you can do from this area include:

  • Add and manage users
  • Configure usage analysis settings
  • Check the status of your FrontPage server and make repairs if necessary
  • Create, merge, manage, or delete subwebs
  • And more!
