What does the GO link do under ftp?
That link is just a link to ftp://userame@domain.com/webdirectory/

A lot of web browsers (netscape and i.e. at least) have built-in ftp capabilities, and by going to a URL in that format, you can drag and drop files into your browser window to upload them to your site!

You'll have to enter your ftp password before it will connect of course. If your browser doesn't support ftp or that link isn't working for you for some reason, you should just use a standard ftp client to upload your site!

"But a shortcut like the above is handy for a quick upload. It is a bit slower than WsFTP, but not by much." , but not as save as manually entering your password, i expect :) .

The GO link doesn't work for me.

It works in IE and Mozilla if you create a shortcut to the following:
ftp://username:password@domain.com/

Oh, wait, I just tried the GO link and it did work. First time for everything.

But a shortcut like the above is handy for a quick upload. It is a bit slower than WsFTP, but not by much.

ftp through browser is slow, and if you use multi-channel isdn, then mozilla picks only one channel
