Putting the search engine on your site
Once you have created a site, you can allow visitors to search from your page. How do you do that? It's easy!

  1. Go to http://keywords.newdream.net. Log in if necessary.

  2. Click on the name of your site, either here:

    or here:

  3. At the bottom of the page, you should see a large text box with some html code in it. Copy this code (CTRL+C), and paste it (CTL+V) into the page of your choice.

  4. If you want to change the appearance of the text box, the words, or anything else, you can edit the .html [how do I do that?] either at keywords.newdream.net, before you copy and paste, or afterward, when you've pasted it into the code of your page.

  5. Save the code for your page, then FTP it to your site. [how do I do that?].

  6. Point your web browser at your site to see the search engine and to give it a try. You may have to refresh the page.
