I just realized that the The Unofficial DreamHost Discussion Forum RSS Feed (what a name!) hasn’t been updated since I upgraded this blog to WordPress 2.0.4 three days ago (forgot to change my .htaccess).
Everything should be working again, otherwise send me an email or write a comment.

DreamHost customer matttail has written a tutorial about how to automatically backup your domains and databases. By using the crontab command to run a series of scripts, the process creates a tar file (a compressed file) with all the files for a given domain and a tar file with the MySQL database data.

Just a quick note to let you know that the DreamHost Knowledge Base has been integrated to the DreamHost Wiki.
Currently links to articles in the old Knowledge Base are directed to the frontpage with a link to the Wiki, but hopefully DreamHost will map the old URLs to the Wiki sooner or later.
