Review Books for the Unofficial DreamHost Blog
I’ve been offered two more review copies from Packt Publishing and once again I will offer the opportunity to readers of the Unofficial DreamHost Blog.
This time it’s two PHP related books: PHP Web 2.0 Mashup Projects and Building Responsive Web Applications with AJAX and PHP.
If you would like to receive one of these books in return for a review, please write a comment or send me an email. You will receive a hard copy of the book for you to keep and shipping/handling will be paid by Packt.
Your review should be at least 3-5 paragraphs and be send to me within a reasonable time frame from you receive the book (3-4 weeks). You will of course get full credit for your review and a link to your blog/website.
If there is more than two readers signing up for this opportunity I will randomly select the two lucky readers.

I’d be very pleased to write a review of “Ajax & PHP”, given that I’ve not paid any attention to the “web 2.0″ buzzwordladen “technologies” of late, so I’m a complete beginner when it comes to AJAX. All I know is it involves javascript and XML.
Seriously, whats wrong with people these days?
“Website with some interactivity” -> “Web application”
“Collection of websites with a little interactivity” -> “web 2.0″
Its also words too. I feel buzzwords and marketing have tainted “solution”, “product” and “application”
Anyway, I’ll review the AJAX and PHP, even the other one, but the A&P one interests me most.

I’ve now selected the reviewers of the two PHP books.
I’ve once again been overwhelmed by the interest and I want to thank everybody who has written to me. Unfortunately I could only select two reviewers this time, but I will hopefully receive more books in the near future.
