Happy New Year and happy new newsletter:

1. New Year’s Resolution
   DreamHost to Decrease Storage Capacity and Bandwidth Allowance?
   Basically this story is just (successful) digg-bait (IMHO)…
2. New SVN, Ruby and ImageMagick
   SVN has been upgraded to version 1.3.2
   Imagemagick to version 6.2.4 and
   Ruby to version 1.8.5
3. New Domain Transfer Locking
   You can now “lock” your domains as an extra safeguard against scumbags trying to hijack your domains. I strongly encourage you to lock all your domains as their is really no downside to this.
4. New Suggestions
   Just a reminder to use DreamHost’s suggestion panel if you have any ideas for how DreamHost can improve. Actually most new implemented features are from customer suggestions, which other customers have shown interest in by voting.
5. New Charities
   New charities are it’s OpenCourceWare and Save Darfur.
6. DHSOTM
   DreamHost Site of the Month: Expansion Broadcast Radio
