The Apache 2.0 news is kinda cool. I’m not sure how this will effect me as a customer though (if at all, even in performance)?
What I’ve been waiting, and waiting to hear is that DH is offering their own dedicated server service.

I can only start to hope that DreamHost, when they start hosting their own dedicated servers again, will have pricing that rivals the following
http://www.cari.net/Dedicated-Servers/dedicated-servers-by-processor.php#pentium4
$69/mo
Processor: Pentium 4 3.0GHz
Cache (L2): 2MB
Minimum RAM: 1GB
Storage: 160GB SATA2

I’m curious to know when your “more about this later” comment will be addressed with regards to Apache 2.0.

Hank
I just looked over those dedicated server options from cari.net. I must say that even though I’m a die-hard, loyal, DreamHost customer … I’m very jealous of those plans.
Very inexpensive and great hardware.
DH, please when you start offering dedicated servers again to be competitive with cari.net.
