5 resources at yourdomain.com

When you add a domain to DreamHost up to 5 resources will be available at yourdomain.com.

Webmail
A webmail client is automatically set up on all domains at http://webmail.yourdomain.com. Dreamhost currently uses the PHP-based Webmail software package SquirrelMail.

Mailbox Manager
The Mailbox Manager at http://mailboxes.yourdomain.com gives your users the ability to check their disk usage, set up keyword filters and auto-responders, etc. without giving them access to the full control panel. Each user can just change the settings for their own email account.

Website Statistics
Every domain hosted at DreamHost will have the open-source website statistics software package Analog available at http://www.yourdomain.com/stats/. Analog is one of the most widely-used logfile analyser in the World.

CPU Usage Monitor
You can track how many resources your website is taking up at http://www.yourdomain.com/stats/resources/. All customers are only allowed a certain number of CPU minutes per day, so it’s a good idea to keep an eye on your CPU usages.

MySQL Database Manager
phpMyAdmin is installed by default for all MySQL databases. So if you have set up a database at the hostname mysql.yourdomain.com you will have the phpMyAdmin web-based interface available at http://mysql.yourdomain.com. Since you choose the MySQL hostname yourself, the URL of phpMyAdmin can change from user to user, but the most common choice seems to be http://mysql.yourdomain.com.

Perfect, just what I needed to know! (just when I needed it too)

  2. Cedric says:

The CPU consumption statistics don’t seem to be available.

  3. Unofficial DreamHost Blog says:

Cedric – You probably need to enable CPU Reporting for your user. This can be done from the Users->Manage Users section of the web panel by clicking ‘edit’ for the user in question. You will be able to access your stats after approximately 24 hours.

More info in the CPU Minutes FAQ.
